Murgatroyd Architectural Studio (Pty) Ltd (“MAS”, “we”, “us” or “our”), company registration number 202008547207, is responsible for personal information processed through this website. Greg Murgatroyd is the Information Officer. Privacy enquiries may be directed to greg@masarch.net.
2. Information we process
We may process information you provide when contacting us, including your name, contact details, organisation and the contents of your enquiry. Our hosting infrastructure may also process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request times and error or security logs.
3. Analytics and cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and interactions, including pages viewed, approximate location, device category, traffic source and selected on-page events. Google Analytics is not loaded unless you accept analytics cookies. You may change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Essential storage used to remember your privacy choice is necessary to respect that choice. We do not currently use advertising or behavioural-marketing cookies.
4. Why we process information
Information is processed to respond to enquiries, provide architectural services, operate and secure the website, understand website performance where consent has been given, comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal rights.
5. Sharing and international processing
We may share information with service providers that support website hosting, security, email and consented analytics. Google Analytics data may be processed outside South Africa under Google’s applicable safeguards and contractual terms. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, legal obligation or legitimate business requirement. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Contact greg@masarch.net to exercise these rights.
